Google heeft bij monde van Matt Cutts aangekondigt dat het niet langer verplicht is om schuld te bekennen bij een reinclusion request(verzoek tot heropname van een site die uit de index is verdwenen).
Dat lijkt me een meer redelijke benadering want sites verdwijnen uit Google’s index zonder soms ook maar enige vorm van schuld daaraan te hebben.
We citeren de uitspraak van Matt op zijn blog :
Michael VanDeMar, just to give you a quick update, I dropped an email to someone at Google to request that we remove the text "I believe this site has violated Google’s quality guidelines" in the past from the checkbox in the reconsideration request form, and I requested some other modifications to the language of the form as well. It may take a while for the changes to be pushed in English, and then a while longer for the modifications to be done in all the different languages we offer, but I do think the changes will go through.
That’s been on my meaning-to-do list for a while, so thanks for pinging me about that form. While I was at it, I asked the person to modify our SEO tips and advice page to remove the “you should insist on a full and unconditional money-back guaranteed sentence as well. I know that was another point that people sometimes objected to.

Ben ik het niet mee eens.
Als elke webmaster zou beslissen om niet langer te willen worden opgenomen door Google is de firma binnen het jaar opgedoekt.
Google is afhankelijk van websites. Totaal, is het niet de inhoud dan is het de advertentie ruimte.
En ze zullen niet kunnen blijven doen alsof dat niet zo is.
Ik merk de laatste weken zeer kritische maar terechte vragen richting Google.
En de hype lijkt me aan het overwaaien. In Amerika bv zijn vele grote sites overgeschakeld of er mee bezig om hun site search niet langer door Google te laten serveren.
